A birthday party and a ukulele

When I was a teenager me and my friends got to know a local band called Feedback. Their biggest hit was called “Memories away”, and I think we all had secret stars in our eyes hearing them play this song. Eventually these guys became very good friends of us. And now about a decade since they quit playing together as Feedback, they are all turning 30 and decided to reunite for a 150 years birthday party. We were invited and asked to play a song during the party. And for the sake of the nostalgia theme, we chose to play “Countless Goodbyes” .  Due to most of our band missing we had to make a special version for the occasion. Lucky for us we had an old friend visiting; Eero Taina learned the song in no time and joined us on accoustic guitar. And I got the chance to finally try my new friend in public. This is a ukulele that my brother has build for me:

It sounds pretty good I think and it can even be plugged in. Needless to say we had a lot of fun both at the party and with playing “Countless” in a bass, acc guitar and ukulele version.

Happy birthday Feedback, thank you Eero and please welcome my ukulele at a future show!
