Some glimpses of the Easter recording sessions

Just want to share some of what happened during Easter, when my band gathered to record:
On Monday the sun was shining like on a summer´s day. The guys started setting up the equipment at the cabin of my husband´s family, The cabin´s living room has a view of the sea and was just big enough to fit it all. After a lot of tweaking, coffeé breaks in the sun and hard work everything was good to go in the evening. I then joined them to do vocal tracks for them to follow.
Tuesday the guys confidently started working on the first song. Though they didn´t lack any sunshine, good sound or inspirational surroundings, the day got amputated by technical problems. Only half a song was done by tuesday evening, while we had aimed for 1 and a half when planning. But after some heroic work by Jon Anders (keys and sound man), things looked brighter for Wednesday although it was the last whole day.
And Wednesday turned out to be very bright indeed! That first song was done, and then the 2 next as well! Efficiency and creativity was flowing, and the day even included the guys as a tiny men´s choir, recording vocals in the hallway.
With a feeling of accomplishment all the stuff was packed down and everyone went back home again. There are still things to do of course. vocals and some other extra things, but it sounds very promising so far. I look foreward to continue!
